Here are some updates for the month of July!
The gift certificate drawing is starting now! If you purchase a New England Shop Hop passport for $11.50 each at Paradise, from now until July 4th, you will be entered into a drawing for a $50 gift certificate to our shop. For every 50th passport sold you get a chance to win a gift certificate.
Passport magazines will be available after July 13th, reserve your copy now!
Paper Pieced Place Mat with Donna Vieu:
Description: Donna is a certified Quiltworx instructor, and she’s coming to Paradise! She is having two classes to teach pieced placemats, your choice. Class includes the pattern, fabric is available separately.
Supplies: You must also bring in your own machine.
Date: Wednesday, Watermelon is Wednesday, July 26, 2023 (10-3 pm) and Tea Time is Sunday, July 30 (10-3 pm)
Price: $75.00 Call the shop to pre-register and pay for your class to reserve your spot.
Mega Bow Tucks Tote:
Description: The finished bag is 17 inches tall by 26 inches wide and 9 inches deep. It has swivel hook hardware on the side to give it a smaller silhouette at the top, which can be released to give extra storage capacity. Mega has pockets lining the whole inside too.
Supplies: A supply list will be shared when you sign up. You must also bring in your own machine.
Date: Saturday, August 19, 2023 (9-3 pm)
Price: $45.00 Call the shop to pre-register and pay for your class to reserve your spot.
Fold’n Stitch Holiday Ornament Class:
Description: This class includes the Bosal, beads, and ribbon required to make one ornament.
Supplies: You must also bring in your own machine. Call the shop for the supply list.
Date: Saturday, July 29, 2023 (10-2 pm)
Price: $35.00 Call the shop to pre-register and pay for your class to reserve your spot.
Got Your Back, Backpack Class:
Description: Nice versatile backpack for your family. Perfect for travel, school, errands, etc.
Supplies: You must also bring in your own machine. Call the shop for the supply list.
Date: Saturday, August 12, 2023 (10-4 pm) This is a two-part class, the second will be determined with the first class of students.
Price: $100.00 Call the shop to pre-register and pay for your class to reserve your spot.
Basic Quilting 101:
This is a basic class to know how to quilt. Come with questions, the content is flexible.
Supplies: You must also bring in your own machine.
Date: Saturday, July 8 or 22, 2023 (9:30-1:30 pm). We will continue every two weeks.
Price: $25.00 Call the shop to pre-register and pay for your class to reserve your spot.
Paradise Slow Stitchers:
Description: Bring in your own project or purchase one here and learn some new techniques. This class now includes embroidery, hand stitching, English paper piecing, or any hand stitching project.
Supplies: Please call the shop to pre-register and get your supply list
Dates: Sunday, July 16, 2023 (10-2 pm),
Price: $25.00 per class plus supplies.
We are building inventory, and new wool coming in weekly.
Featherweight Club:
Description: Our monthly Featherweight Club started in September. Each session will start with a little history of the machine including maintenance tips. Food will also be served.
Supplies: Bring your machine and your projects to sit and sew.
Date: Friday, July 21, 2023 (4-9) or Sunday, July 23, (10-3 pm).
Price: Each session is $25.00 including a pre-registration fee of $5.00 each month.
