With the new month of November here, we have some news for you from the team at Paradise Quilting.
First! We are excited to announce our Annual 12 Days Of Christmas promotion for this holiday season. Once again, the quilting elves have decided to do something special for Christmas with our Annual 12 Days of Christmas promotion.
Fran says, “We put 12 individually wrapped items in a personalized pillowcase made by Paradise Quilting, and the recipient gets to open one present for 12 days starting on December 13th.”
These items can be handpicked by our team, or we can work with you to find the perfect match! Orders can be placed starting today, November 1st!
Do you know a young person that might not have the resources, but would like to get into the world of sewing and crafting?
Recently, one of Fran’s friends, and favorite customers, Bonnie Lou, offered to put together a wonderful contest with us! We are giving away TWO brand new sewing machines!
The winner of Bonnie’s Contest at Paradise Quilting will take home a brand new EverSewn or Janome Sewing Machine, basket of notions, and a credit for two hours of tutoring to learn the machine, courtesy of Paradise Quilting.
Just fill out the form on our website and include a short essay (30-50 words) as to why you would like to start their sewing craft.
To enter, the applicant needs to be between the ages 10-18 years old. You must also be able to pick up the prize at the Paradise Quilting store in Concord.
We also ask that you send us a photo or two of your first project, so we can share your progress on social media.
Paradise Woolies Class:
Description: Bring in your own project or purchase one here and learn some new techniques.
Supplies: Please call the shop to pre-register and get your supply list
Dates: Monday-November 15 (1-5), Sunday-November 28 (10-2), and Sunday-December 12 (10-2)
Price: $25.00 per class plus supplies, or sign up and identify 4 classes for $75
We are building inventory, new wool coming in weekly.
Block of the Month:
Description: Using the above pattern we will be making a block or two a month. Learning new techniques with quilting friends.
Supplies: Please call the shop to pre-register and get your supply list.
Dates: Saturday-November 20 (10-2), December TBD
Price: $25.00 plus supplies
Featherweight Club:
Our monthly Featherweight Club started in September.
The session will start with a little history of the machine including maintenance tips.
Food will also be served.
Supplies: Bring your machine and your projects to sit and sew.
Date: Sunday-November 7 (10-3) Sunday-December 5 2021 (10-3) or Friday-November 19, 2021 (5-10) and Friday-December 17, 2021 (5-10)
Price: Each session is $20.00 including a pre-registration fee of $5.00 each month.
Holiday Cheers Wine Tote:
Description: Use it to carry your own wine to a party, give it as a gift with a bottle of wine included.
Use it as a ‘vase cover’ in your holiday decorations, or hang it from the mantle filled with greenery.
Can be used with a variety of holiday fabrics: add glue-on crystals, ribbons, or small bells for embellishments if you want.
Supplies: Please call the shop to pre-register and get your supply list.
Dates: Saturday-November 6 (10-2)
Price: $25.00 plus supplies
Sweatshirt Jacket by Kathy Beltz:
Description: With a sweatshirt of your own we will make a jacket in two 6 hour classes. You will have homework to do between classes.
Supplies: Please call the shop to pre-register and get your supply list, the pattern must be purchased separately
Date: Saturday-November 13, 2021 (10-4) and Saturday (TBD) (10-4)
Price: $90.00 w/our machines, 80.00 w/ yours

The Grand prize is a Singer Featherweight, 2nd is a Duo Lamp and third is a Sip and Snip and a Flex Sewing light. Daily door prizes include (20) $15.00 Gift cards, there will also be a costume drawing and collections for the NH Foodbank with a separate drawing.
